Her eyes move along the words on the pages of the book. She sits by the fire with Flash looking for a book and she hears clicks of hoofs, she continues to read and with Spike lying at her side, given he had the chance to visit. After a few pages she feels a nudge at her side as something buries under wing. She turns to the side and hears purring. “Hmm…” she says as she turns her head to looks at her little girl. She closes her book with her magic and smiles. Flash walks over and leans his head down to his family. “I still can’t believe you agreed to adopt the Princess’s filly.” Flash admits. “I didn’t mind, did I Dawn?” Twilight whispers. The little filly opens her eyes. “You still haven’t spoken your first word and you’re three years old. I wonder if something is wrong.” she wonders. “I’m just worried tha-.” she’s cut off. “Mama!” All of their heads perk up. “Mama!” They looks down at Dawn and see “Did she just…” Spike starts. “say her first word?!” Flash finishes. Twilight begins to tear up. “Yes!” she answers. Using her magic, she picks up a paper and quill, and begins to write.
_Dear Princess Celestia,_The most amazing thing just happened. Dawn said her first word, and better yet, it was “mama”. She called me “Mama” Princess. I was so worried that she wouldn’t be able to talk. This pleases me so. Even when she couldn’t talk, she could understand me. I believe it’s because she part Draconaquus. I’m getting off topic. This is wonderful, and i hope i’m not interrupting your sleep. I will do some research tomorrow. Good Night Princess.

She rolls the letter and hands it to Spike, who blows on it with his green, fiery breath, sending it on it’s way to Princess Celestia. Twilight Lays her head down and cuddles with her daughter, with Flash on the other side and Spike behind Flash, with his head near Dawn. They all cry tears of joy. She can’t believe how much she’s grown. Even if Dawn is not her daughter by blood, she’s still her daughter by heart.
Far past PonyVille, in Canterlot, Celestia is readying herself for bed, when all the sudden, a trail of green flames enters her room. With a POOF, it turns to a scroll. She grabs the scroll and opens it with her magic. She reads it. Tears weld up in her eyes. She smiles. She sets scroll inside a small box labled, “Crazy Dawn”. She closes the box and lays down on her bed. She looks at the box one more time before falling asleep.
