Somewhere in the southern extent of the Maresterhorn mountain range, a lone vessel slips silently through the early morning hours, rain pounding away upon her envelope. An older ship, refitted with a topside rigged balloon to replace her once state of the art internal lifting engines, years past she likely flew the livery of a now forgotten baron or small nation. But the years have been hard on her, the old girl lucky to be in a scrap yard forgotten – never to feel the wind rushing across her decks again.

Where once her appearance was heralded by the thunder of cannon fire and roar of engines, now she creeps silently into ports in the middle of the night, ferrying cargo and passengers. Still, this old lass doesn’t blame her owner, he merely scooped up a ship past it’s prime slated to be cut apart and forgotten, but she longs for adventure. Her captain is a young buck, living job to job, barely getting any sleep, and so very far from the Whitetail Woods of Equestria.

And currently asleep at the helm, the lazy git.

I’m having this odd urge to try and do one of those reader prompt based stories, in an effort to get quicker at drawing, and such. Sort of like an ask based story I guess. I dunno, if any get interested in it, I might mess with it more on here.
