As I never drew Grogar before, I though I should train a little, i think it turned out alright.

This is supposed to be part of a story about Celestia and Luna, in this part, Celestia is supposed to be crowned princess by Star Swirl, but Grogar decide to crash the party.

This is also when Celestia and Luna get their cutie marks, Celestia by opposing Grogar, claimming it’s her dutie as a princess to bring light to her people and by bringing out the sun thus cancelling Grogar’s necromancy and Luna by comming to her sister rescue and saying that no matter if her fate is to stay in Celestia’s shadow and that her name will never be know, she wants to stand at her side and watch over the ponies.

Now I have a question, I’ve often seen people calling Grogar a necromancer but when I’ve watched the episodes where he appears and I’ve seen nothing of the sort, so is it totally fanon or is there something I missed ?
