Pinkie Pie and Mikey are invited to Cheese Sandwich’s gag factory. So they head out, wanting to know what their life’s purpose is. Clover Bloom tags along, wanting to discover what her life’s purpose is as well. But when they arrive, they discover that the unthinkable has happened: Cheese Sandwich has lost his laugh!

So the three, along with Sans Smirk, try all sorts of things to make Cheese laugh again, but all their efforts are in vain. Just as their about to give up, Pinkie Pie realizes why he can’t laugh: because he needs to SEE other poines laughing in order to make himself laugh.

Cheese Sandwich: Pinkie, you laugh at everything. I appreciate what you and Mikey are doing, but I think it’s a “cost lause”. [stutters] A lost cause.

Clover Bloom: [snickers]

Cheese Sandwich: What… was… that?!

Clover Bloom: Um, I’m sorry, Mr Sandwich. When you swapped the letters of those words, it was just a bit…

Cheese Sandwich: Funny?

Clover Bloom: Well, yes, yes it was.

Back at the castle, Pinkie Pie knows what her purpose is. Clover realizes that she was meant to be a dancer, as she had fun dancing to Cheese’s song, and get’s an idea for her and Melody to be a Singing-Dancing Duo. Mikey realizes that he wants to be a party planner like Pinkie and Cheese.

“You know! Once humans and mutants learn to co exist.”
