Heya! This is my first piece of crossover fan art and I had such a fun time working on it this late summer! I would have done it earlier if I had the idea around midsummer because this piece is from a Movie called Midsommar and if you haven't seen it, I highly encourage you to do so! It's my most favourite movie in the world! and in the movie, a Swedish village celebrates the holiday midsummer and the summer solstice and they kinda worship the sun so it totally made sense to me to make this because Celestia raises the sun and all. If you notice, I put two runic symbols on her shirt because every villager has two of those from the Elder futhark alphabet. The two are sowilo(ᛋ) and dagaz(ᛞ) meaning 'sun' and 'day'! which is awesome because those would totally be her runes! I hope y'all enjoy!
