This event takes place 1000 years ago, long before Scorpan informed Princess Celestia and Princess Luna about Lord Tirek and way before Nightmare Moon’s banishment to the moon.

You could say that the follow-up to this moment was the one that set everything in motion. Because a younger and not so experienced Princess Celestia fell for a pony named: “Yaman Miek” and married him right after he proposed to her. Not knowing that he was an ancient being from another dimension in disguise, who only wanted to produce the most powerful beings by inpregnating the Equestria’s highest authoritian figure.
