Continuing with the theme “things I thought I would never touch again”, I found myself making another drawing inspired by My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. After the Town Hall, no other building in the series caught my attention…. until the start of Season 8.
The School of Friendship has enough elements to guide my interest, although also things I hate to draw, like water, vegetation and waterfalls. Maybe the end result is not as good as I expected in my mind, but I think it still meets the concept of realistic redesign of a cartoon building.
Additionally, it allows me to get out of the hiatus; not for lack of projects, which I have several, but finally to do something. Whatever it is. It was good because it was really simple. I’ll see if I can get something else.

Escuela de la amistad – Ponyville, Equestria.
Siguiendo con la temática “temas que creí que no volvería a tocar”, me he encontrado haciendo otro dibujo inspirado en Mi pequeño pony: la magia de la amistad. Después del Edificio del Ayuntamiento, ningún otro edificio de la serie captaba mi atención… hasta el inicio de la Temporada 8.
La Escuela de la amistad tiene suficiente elementos que encauzaron mi interés, aunque también cosas que odio dibujar, como agua, vegetación y cascadas. Quizás el resultado final no es tan bueno como esperaba en mi mente, pero creo que sigue cumpliendo el concepto de rediseño realista de un edificio de caricatura.
Adicionalmente me permite salir del hiatus; no por falta de proyectos, que tengo varios, sino por fin hacer algo. Lo que sea. Estuvo bien por que fue realmente sencillo. A ver si me pongo con alguna otra cosa.
