Heartbreak looked at the scarf uneasily, but she relents as it is no doubt fashionable. She felt the fabric of it through her new socks, both expertly made by none other than Ponyville’s premier fashionista. The stripes had a strangely slimming look and the scarf was very warm. The thorns portrayed a bit of a rough look, though if she had to garner a guess she’d say she does too sometimes.

“Wow, Rarity… I don’t know what to say…” Heartbreak says, shocked. She can feel happy tears slowly rising.

“Everypony deserves a happy Hearthswarming. Even you… especially you, given your situation.” Rarity doesn’t expound, seeing as it would ruin the moment.

“Y-Yeah… I guess your right…” Heartbreak mumbles as she looks at the scarf, the details blurring with tears. She wipes the tears with her newly covered hoof and the soft fabric effortlessly absorbs the tears. “Happy Hearthswarming, Rarity,” she says, choking back a sob.

“Happy Hearthswarming, H.B.” Rarity replies softly.
