These footprints of children in sand

daunting little faces laughing at the ugly creature I am

I wanted to paint the sand black with rain

so that these smiles would drown

but the faces festered again

so I wished for the rain to drown me”_

“I tried to paint to take a more traditional style approach to this one

The style was heavily inspired by sharpieboss who has some amazing artwork that you should definitely go view if you haven’t done so already

Painting is much more versatile than linework

It was quite enjoyable”
