Equestria’s Technology marches on

Great engines require hills of coal to push ponykind onward. The need for coal drove it past the limits of morality, and one day they took it from the coal-rich gryphons by the force of gatling guns and cannon fire. Those that fell from the sky one more time were the lucky ones. The rest were hauled off to Equestria to live their hopefully short lives in chains and collars. Pony families remaind undivided, but gryphon families were torn apart as one was given to each pony family in equestria.

The great machines grind and turn ever forward. Fuelled by ill gotten coal and greased with the blood of equestria’s enemies.
