Playing with this some more.
They can summon their wings whenever they’d like (even just one at a time)
Feathers also appear on the side that their wings are out on (on their back, neck, chest and face)
They have thumbs and finger-like appendages on the inside of their wings so they’re capable of holding stuff in the air
They rely on their pegasus magic to stay in the air meaning that they are able to fly without necessarily flapping (their wings do give them more speed when used and are very helpful when turning)
To use their “pegasus magic” (both) their wings must be summoned
Younger pegasus children’s magic is not that strong so they have to flap their wings to stay in the air at all (As they get older, the magic grows stronger. The rate at which their magic gets stronger varies from child to child)
