In this universe, Fluttershy was outcast by most of pegasi society for her shy nature and being a weak flier. That isn't all though. She also was unable to use wind/weather based magic. Something that comes naturally to most pegasi.

Rainbow Dash was her only friend for a long time and even helped her move into the forest. Fluttershy would realize that while she couldn't use weather based magic, she was a master at nature magic. Able to communicate with wildlife and tame even the deadliest creatures with kindness. She even has a chaos being named "Discord" as one of her summons if things look dire.
