Lineart, colouring, and shading practice
Took like 6 hours for this. Doing the lines was quite challenging for me because i was trying to do it zoomed out and using my wrists at first. But then heard some advice saying that you should try drawing from the shoulder while zooming in much more to get nicer lines. Tried that and i think it does work. Also learned about adding line weights so that the drawing doesn't look flat and boring. I'm not sure if the weights make sense, but it seems to break up the monotony of the lines all having the same width. Learning how to colour and shade was also very challenging for me. I referenced colours from fan works and i hope it works. Colouring her eyes was tough and i think i need more practice in that regard. Also now realising that her eyes don't really match in size. For shading, i tried visualising a light source (off to her right and slightly elevated) and then shading based on that. Used the multiply blending mode but i'm still unsure how it's supposed to work (couldn't wrap my head
