seems like DA just never ceases to amaze me- on top of being pro-AI, they are also a bunch of zionists directly using their funds, that of which I didn't know about!!
this all happened back when I was posting here veryyy infrequently, basically posting something and that's it-and I use the app and never saw any of their pro-isreal stuff and by the time I had started hanging out on the platform more they had covered it up, so all I've ever seen since then is them pushing AI
my mutual has recently informed me of this and it's very important that everyone is aware if they weren't already!!

and personally, I don't feel comfortable supporting a company that is so blatantly open about this. most companies are pro-isreal of course, but DA is strangely very open about it and that's very unnerving to me. it was bad enough that they're boosting AI, but I just can't support a platform that is not only against artists, but against an entire population.
this is the final straw and it should be for everyone. ‼️
I'm just soo sick of being disappointed in DA, it's so sad that it has fallen so far from grace. this used to be an artist haven- I have been using this site since I was little bitty but it has completely fallen apart morally.
I'm just gonna foolishly hope they get bought out again, but until then, I think I would feel much more comfortable not posting here anymore, and I honestly suggest everyone does the same.
I'll be keeping this account up for sentimental purposes, but I would like to take my ponies elsewhere. words cannot express how much I adore all wonderful memories made here and the lovely artists who directly inspired all of my artistic choices.
DA has a special place in my heart despite it all but I personally am DONE and I would hope that all artists on here follow me in abandoning this wasteland.
it's hard rebuilding a platform, I know, but it's even harder to continue to support something like this.
