Backstory: Demi was born on the same day as Melody Everbelle. Upon this discovery that she and Melody share the same birthday, interests, hobbies, etc., the two became best friends and would often spend time together, just before Melody befriended Pixie Crystal. However, as the two got older, Melody became more popular than Demi was, especially when the former became an Alicorn princess. This casted a shadow on Demi, who grew more temperamental and cynical to the point where she would become her demon form: Demoni. She and Melody got into a battle, with the latter eventually winning after banishing her to Tartarus for a thousand years.

Since then, Melody and Demi miss each other a lot. Melody even promises to visit her friend in Tartarus once a month.

I know I've said I was taking a break from drawing for the rest of this year, but I couldn't help but make this character. This character is inspired by someone who used to be a friend of mine, but... let's just say we had a falling out. Sad dummy

Yes, Demi's backstory was inspired by the MLP song Lullaby for a Princess.
