Finally finished with its prey, the monstrous reptile leaned its head fully vertical, intent on allowing gravity to help finish her off.
Twilight's wings were forced into awkward angles as she sunk beneath her waist into the beast's hungry gullet. Her legs and left arm were pressed tightly together by powerful muscles, even with her full strength she could not have broken free from them. Her rapid breaths were stifled as the throat contracted around her chest, slowly but firmly pulling her deeper towards certain doom. She tried desperately to summon any kind of magic, and received naught but a few fitful sparks from her horn in return. The monster's tongue curled up over her head, gently pressing her down in preparation for the final swallow.
