This unfinished sketch was originally a request from a friend, ASorcerer13, to draw their undesigned OC, Feather Nib. Though they approved of the sketch, I ended up never finishing it, as I decided to approach the inking as mouse-placed vector lines, which completely destroyed the creative process for me. They went on to have their OC drawn by another artist, rendering this design obsolete.
Original request was as follows:

Name: Feather Nib (Cutsey nickname is Nibby)
Race: Pegasus
Sex: Female
Height: Average
Coat colour: Pastel watermelon red
Eye colour: Dark purple (?)
Mane/Tail colours: Swirls of primarily green and secondarily red.
Cutie Mark: A scroll of parchment tied with a small string along the center, next to an open inkwell with quill sticking out from the top.
Features of note: Nib is an extraordinarily floofilicious birb whose fur grows unbelievably thick, acting as a blanket for both herself and the pony lucky enough to be cuddled up with her.
Mannerisms and personality: Feather Nib is a caring pony who sports a “make love, not war” attitude. Bubbly and cuddly around friends, she is outwardly friendly and acts as a counsellor of sorts; a pony to go to for comfort and a shoulder to lean on when it is needed.

I really like the 80's aesthetic of my design, and if I am capable of capturing the fluffiness of her mane in 'ink', I would like to finish this character for myself (as a different pony).
