Lily Peet had a bit of a troubled past, when her friend got their cutie mark before her, she started to have a grudge towards Cutie Marks, so she created a cult-like group where she took pony's cutie marks and make everyone the same. But after Nyx and her friends gave back the cutie marks she stole, she escaped and then later planned to change time by canceling the Sonic Cloudboom. But after a heart to heart conversation, she is now Princess Nyx's student, learning the basics of friendship.

Starlight Glimmer is just your average pony who complains and talks about stuff and she may or may not have a little grudge towards a certain lunar deity.
