With Griffonstone in a state of disrepair, and it's citizens apathetic to anything but money, the young are often cast aside and forgotten by parents who care little for their offspring. Fortunately for a young gryphoness, one gyphon who goes by the name Grandpa Gruff has taken it upon himself to make sure no child in the kingdom is left wanting, even if his grouchy demeanor and messy home makes it hard for him to express how much he cares.
