I got back from Everfree Northwest 2022 on Monday afternoon and the last bits of post convention business is more or less taken care of now, so it's back to postings.
Continuing with the dream arc in my Royal Equestria Security Forces (RESF) dreamscape. Coco Pommel and Rarity are enjoying a well-earned vacation in Cabo San Luna.
Coco finished her final lap in the pool. With this task completed she slowly floated over on her back to where Rarity was relaxing in the pool under the shade of a palm tree. She was in one of the shallower parts of the pool with her back up against the side of pool. Keeping the mare company was a large glass of something cold, fruity, and full of rum. Coco's commanding officer peered over the rim of her very stylish sunglasses and grinned at her best sharpshooter.
"Have a nice swim darling?" The unicorn asked.
Coco pushed her soggy banks away from her eyes and smiled. "Oh yes. Very nice. This has been a simply splendid day, but I was thinking about going back to our room. Care to join me?"
"Oh dear. Are you feeling alright darling? Did lunch not agree with you? Do you need to lie down and take a nap?"
The earth pony made her way over the edge of pool and started to get out. She paused and looked back Rarity. "Oh I want to get into bed, but I'm not that interested in sleeping."
Then the mare picked up her towel. Slowly she got out of the pool. Did a long, equally slow stretch, and then she walked away. The afternoon light accented the slow sway of her hips as she made her back to the lobby. Her multi-color turquoise tail left a trail of drips as the water in it slowly flowed away from it.
Rarity watched Coco walk away until she was out of sight. Then as fast as was proper for a mare of her station she downed the remaining contents of her drink and then made her way back to their room as well.
