Well... since the last time I drew the canon characters of a herd together ended up being pretty popular, I figured I'd take a crack at this bunch :) I also wanted to explore some different designs for Starlight specifically. I really liked her bangs from her cult leader days, so I kept them and just softened up her look a little. Maud and Mudbriar got some updates too and I really like how they turned out. Nothing too crazy though.

In this herd, Maud is the center. She's with both Starlight and Mudbriar, but the two of them are not together. Even though in this herd they are open to dating outside of the herd, Mudbriar only has eyes for Maud... Starlight is a little different though.

Starlight likes to date around, she makes lots of friends, has relationships with those friends, but things never really get past the good friends with benefits stage for her. She has a lot of hookups all around Equestria. Maud is the only exception, being the only pony Starlight has been able to get close to and really stay with. They understand each other and Starlight never feels any pressure from the earth pony to be anything other than herself.

There is also Sunburst, who is the closest to Starlight other than Maud... but they choose to keep things less serious because they live so far apart and truly love their respective spouses and can't see a future where they're away from them long enough to spend the time with each other to really foster a deeper bond. But everyone is happy that way.

If you look closely, you'll see that Maud is wearing a necklace with three stones on it. She picked these stones out herself and carved and polished them to make this necklace. Each stone represents a member of her herd, her stone being in the middle as she is the center of the herd.

There is also a child from this group... but you'll see more about them later on when I draw them :)
