Happy New Year everybody!
This sums up the major events, international, political, and pop cultural, that occurred this past year. Every year I like to write a poem that sums up all the events of the year after being inspired by the Jib Jab New Year songs, but this was the first time I made a video. Originally this was in the tune of Can Can but changed to Jingles Bells, since it was easier to arrange. I rushed to get this video done for the New Year, it was a last minute thing and animated in 24 hours. Enjoy and Happy New Year! Farewell 2011, Hello 2012.

2011 Year in Review Lyrics:

As we take a look, at this crazy year!
From riots all around, economies on the fall,
Ain't Two Thousand Eleven— the craziest year of all!

Oh, tsunami here, nuclear scare, problems in Japan.
Gaddafi falls, in Libya, brand new South Sudan. Hey!
Rising debt, DC reset, SNP downgrade,
We finally got Osama in a Navy Seal Team raid.

Protest take Wall Street, there was an Arab Spring,
Anthony Weiner, tweeted pictures of his thing.
Steve Jobs passed away, winning Charlie Sheen,
The East Coast gets an earthquake, then hurricane Irene.

Oh, Kim Jong died, Holder lied, trouble at Penn State,
South Park's 15th, honored fans, locked out NBA! Hey!
Skyrim thrills, SOPA bill, Rewrite is released,
In Ohio, a crazy man, let loose a bunch of beasts.

Netflicks unsubscribed, Borders lost its name,
Bankrupt are the Greeks, Clannad in Hall of Fame.
Cantaloupes make ill, Camping twice was wrong,
And YouTube was invaded by Rebecca's Friday song.

October 10th, it was hence, China's big birthday,
While MLP, had its first, on that very day. Hey!
Romney soars, Perry bores, News Corp takes a fall,
With Bronies, Nyan Cat, Planking, and Minecraft; it was the bestest year of all.

Don't Ask Don't Tell repelled, Beck and Keith let go,
Doc Savage writes a book, and Oprah ends her show.
Obama's ratings fall, unemployment on the rise,
There was a falling satellite, no shuttles in the skies.

Oh, news disgrace, Casey case, attacking Herman Cain,
The Royals held, a wedding, while Kim's was just a pain. Hey!
US lends, Iraq war ends, no rapture that is swell,
But I heard the world will end in the year 2012!!!
