Ok ive been working on these for a couple days now but heres my headcannons for who i like to call the twilight rip offs! I just finished streaming these on twitch today so if you want like any more insight onto these designs the vod is up where i go even more indepth on the at www.twitch.tv/thegranxa but like anyway lemme talk about these ponies. These are all for around the shows canon run time but with some slight alterations

Starlight Glimmer: Starlight Glimmer is a small town girl and im gonna say it, doesnt have that much experience with larger societal systems. Im not going too much into character headcannons for this one more design headcannons but Starlight grew up with a what was supposed to be hard work as she worked along side her father at the preservation society on the rare occasions he would actually spend time with her. Starlight kind of grew up with a kids attitude on most things even though she was glaringly independent at home. Shes got a decently stocky build for a unicorn and though her magic is decently powerful she tries to compensate for a short looking horn by standing up really straight, having huge hairstyles, and perking her ears up all the time.

Trixie Lulamoon: Trixie is a roady by heart she kind of bounced around since she was younger, her parents had joint custody and she would pinball between either home on a whim and really cemented her attitude and love for moving around at a young age. Shes tall and lanky and honesty surprisingly frail though fantastic at simple spells meant for everyday life, thats what magic tricks are anyway just augmented normal spells to dress and impress the people around you. She cuts her hair short after a misfortunate pyrotechnics malfunction and she jokes about it all the time with her father, who though they dont see each other a lot she has a great relationship with. Trixie has a very curved horn which different for harnessing magic with in unicorns and makes complicated spells more high quality if you tap into it but honestly its just hard to use, thats why Trixie has just mastered and refined the basics for everything she does if it aint broke dont fix it.

Sunset Shimmer: Sunset is a pony whos more used to cold climate and she really thrives in places where she can do large thermal spells. She didnt ever really have much of a family but she went to Celestia's school on an exchange program and her elderly grandparents who had been taking care of her up to that point out of obligation really couldnt have cared less. Shes got a pretty thick coat and a very large horn with a gradient tip signifying more magic use and potency. Even though Sunset is a very powerful pony with extremely high quality training shes honestly happier now that she doesnt really have to use it as a human, she thinks that hands are more fun and take less work and effort in comparison to the expectations of being a high level magic student.

Tempest Shadow: Tempest is large for a unicorn as she had a pretty loving home with a lot of earth pony traditions and customs due to family genetics the attack was honestly something that shouldnt have been surprising for her smaller rural area but it devastated her and the community she came from. Tempest is really good for her power and her large hooves and strong body paired with trauma made her the perfect pawn for the Storm King. Tempest doesnt really want a disability aid for her horn she wants to show people that she doesnt need to adapt to be more "normal" to be just as much of a pony as everyone else is and that might be a lot of her earth pony roots talking. Tempest is very used to manual labor and settles down to run her own bakery. The scaring around her face is worse than it looks and she has most of the use of her eye still even if its a little cloudier than it should be.

Moondancer: Moondancer used to be best friends with Twilight Sparkle and she, for all of her pessimism and introvertedness she has a very loving family and friend group. Moondancer as opposed to twilight is much shorter and stocker with a very think horn and might be one of the most magically advanced out of the whole bunch of these unicorns at least, she studies and practices the most to be fair. Moondancer has a pretty even covering of purple and red in her hair and she prefers to keep it out of her eyes as her bangs are surprisingly long and they like to curl into her face, as much as she would like to pretend that its straight it really isnt that straight and its pretty unruly. Shes nearsighted and needs glasses to see most things beyond a little less than a hoofslength away from her body.
