_“Darn food coma” Celestia muttered to herself trying to maintain a straight face as she neared the end of her daily duties.

A quick bit of fun had turned into a day of inconvenience after she had fallen asleep after gobbling up her favourite snack.

Waking up late she’d had to rush straight to her first duty before she had any time to address them, they were along for the ride.

They made a bit of a fuss that drew some eyes from onlookers, though they made no remarks, as she began her tasks for the day.

She found her morning court on the throne particularly troublesome to remain composed during, as her quarry fidgeted while she sat.

The acoustics of the throne room do nothing to help hide to occasional groan from her belly.

After a few hours they’d settled in and she even had small stints where she forgot they were there, until she went to move again of course.

“It’s only a few hours, they’ll be fine,” she thought to herself through the day

She was finally listening to the last the of days reports when they started making a stir again.

Excusing herself from final details she began making her way back to her chambers, as she discerned a final muffled complaint from her passenger.

“Don’t worry dear, we’re almost there” she cooed. She’d have to make it up to them tonight…_
