a DTA entry being made at the last second, haha~ for this DTA

A fairly gentle duo, Aloe and Dogwood are a fairly reserved Plant pony combo that keep a garden on the outer edges of the Everfree forest. Aloe not only tends to the garden but also studies the plants that grow there, learning about their properties and how they can be used positively. Her plant tail Dogwood assists her as best he can. However, as his level of intelligence is a low-level sentience, meaning he thinks more like an animal than a pony or human, his ability to help is limited. This doesn’t stop Aloe from providing him with simple tasks such as teaching him how to identify good plants from poisonous ones via smell, and how to pick the larger flowers or leaves without crushing them in his mouth.

Although Aloe is a healer at heart, and loves to help others, she is wary of other ponies unlike herself, as in the past her and Dogwood have received poor treatment. Thus she prefers to live hermetically, as far away from pony societies as possible. Dogwood also assists her in this manner by staying on lookout while she tends to the garden, and sometimes while she rests.

The jewelry that Aloe wears was given to her by her mother and has sentimental value. she will sometimes also use the necklace as a way to collect and fasten harvested leaves or berries around her neck as a method of transportation for the plants, or for emergency first aid purposes.

Aside from tending to her garden, Aloe’s favorite hobbies include sunbathing with Dogwood, and playing with Dogwood, often taking a nice romp through the open fields she has chosen to make as part of her home.
