Just some late night doodles from yesterday. Lacking motivation for what I was supposed to draw, I just doodled on something else.

Inspired by RP stuff with AngryLittleBurd, where Flower Basket received a horn transplant to try help deal with her underdeveloped horn not allowing proper use of her magic reserves without a full on burnout. Curtsey by Dr. Sunshine Unit.

There were a few complications, turns out it’s not so easy to create a functional horn artificially, especially when you use earth pony bone mass for it. But still succeeded. She just needs to heal up and adjust to her new horn.

Just wanted to see how I could draw her in this, with bandages and her shaved forehead from the surgery.
