Possible threats:

1) A strange artifact has arrived in Equestria. Zecora is aware of this artifact and reveals that the last time the artifact had shown up, it heralded a meteor that destroyed the kingdom she used to live in. Either destroy it with a special magic that no Equestrian has, or manage to send it to another kingdom and hide it so it isn’t found again.

2) A change in the solar system uncontrolled by Celestia or Luna is going to cause a magical burst that would wipe out all life and shields are ineffective. It’s revealed that another being is causing it, and your mission becomes tracking down and killing whoever is causing this.

3) Another kingdom has had enough of the treaties they’ve made with Equestria and has attained weapons of mass destruction. The kingdom is far enough away that, should they fire all their weapons at once, Equestria would be completely obliterated yet their country shows no harm. You have two options: assassinate the leader of this kingdom, or negotiate a more suitable treaty that makes the other kingdom not feel cheated but Equestria doesn’t lose anything.

Other option: you may choose the Rule 63 version of the respective character, but all characters must come from the Rule 63 version.
