Gettin’ back in the game, we’ll start with Chestnut, the biological daughter of Zephyr Breeze and Trenderhoof!

Chestnut is Zephyr and Trender’s only biological child, and baby sister to Licorice Whip, and has a baby attitude to go with it. She’s hedonistic and relaxed, but wasn’t always that way.

As a filly, Chestnut was always naturally chubby. With two beanpoles as fathers, this was always something that weighed on her self esteem. At a young age, Chestnut wanted to be active and sporty, with a big idea of being a cheerleader. She worked and worked and worked, to the point of exhaustion. When her dads made a point to be there for her and intervene in this behavior, it really hit her that this wasn’t what she wanted. She wanted to want it. So she pivoted.

Food made her happy, and there wasn’t anything wrong with that. So what if she were bigger than the average filly? She liked how she felt when she relaxed herself. Eventually, she just became very indulgent. She stopped caring about her looks, namely her mane, much to Zephyr’s dismay. The two fought so much about it, as a teen, she just chopped it off and dyed it.

Yup, Chestnut had a punk phase.

Now, she’s still a decadent, and her talent is competitive eating. Near like a snake that can unhinge it’s jaw, she can eat enough for a family of ponies, all by her lonesome.

As teens, Chestnut and Hardcore briefly dated. They have an…. odd relationship now.

Even though she’s a pegasus, Ches rarely flies and mostly just uses her wings for gestures (frequently obscene ones)

While she doesn’t always wear them, Chestnut still has all her piercings from her punk phase. She just usually keeps in clear spacers.
