For the Pony Summer Camp event [link] (dead link) that is about to start on tumblr. Two accounts asked to have their chosen characters share cabin with Skye Gazer and Star Shot, so I felt like drawing the group together as the Summer Camp fun is about to start.

So many layers. Luna’s hair was tricky with the see through part. Maybe I end up hiding Cadence a bit too much behind Star Shot’s glow. She’s just so happy to share cabin with her favourite princess.

I drew the princesses without their growns and such and Cadence’s mane in a ponytail since I imagined they would like to be more practical than royal when going to a summer camp.

Cadence’s cutiemark was a challenge but I sure am happy with how well it turned out in this. The pony smiling at Skye is Indigo (former known as Ween before he was turned into a chick by Poison Joke. No they don’t know it’s really a guy), I have been looking forward to draw that one and I’ll be drawing more of her in future tumblr posts X3

Anyways, enjoy random ponies laning up for summer fun with a horribly bland background ^{^} Yay
