Since I won’t be able to draw much for a while, I decided that I might as well release at least one of the full drawings I have for my new folder. It’s the least I can do for you being so patient. Looking at it though, this is a drawing that’s probably better to view on the mobile app, just because of the horizontal scrolling.

This is a reimagining of all three of my drawings of the CMC members. In terms of the order I made the originals in, I don’t remember if I did Apple Bloom or Scootaloo first, but I know I did Sweetie Belle last, because that one was December. I don’t know where I got the idea of a voice chat call from, but it was in my head for a while, and I thought to myself, “Is there any way I could make that work in one of my drawings?” Lo and behold, this is what resulted.

This wasn’t easy as I had to fully redo three drawings into a single one. Apple Bloom’s panel was the hardest due to the original being primarily vertical and having to significantly rework her proportions. Scootaloo was the easiest, since the pose only needed some minor tweaks, and the only difficulty came from her hair. I also had to give each drawing a full background, with the exception being Scootaloo, since her background is more or less a darker version of the original.

Overall, this is one of my favourite remasters that I’ve yet produced. I would say my remaster of Mimi from Super Paper Mario is my favourite just because of how massive of an improvement it is, but I do think that this one is better from a more objective standpoint.

I hope that this gives you good expectations for the rest of the Dusk folder.
