Description:

Only the Bust of art was used where differences are most notable.

I used my OC Sunset Neon to practice the styles.

Over the years I have had many styles of art and different ways of drawing ponies. I spent some years searching for a unique art style with a lot of charisma and that was attractive to the public until I got to where I am.

Because of this and based on my current art style I decided to make some variants of my art style, such as testing to see what I can do with my art without losing its essence.

With that I had the following styles of art:

Standard: That’s the common art style I usually do. This art style is the middle ground of everything, it is beautiful, practical, easy and fast for me to do, saving time and delivering a beautiful art.

Standard 2.0: This is my standard art style but with much more details, much more worked on 3D objects, clothes and accessories, hair and eyes, mouth etc. This style takes 30% more time than usual (obviously)

Anime: This is my level of absolute concentration, level of detail, finish, clothing and hair, I believe that currently this is as far as I can go, I really do not know what or how to go beyond that.

Toon: This is my fun art style, it’s based on my first pony art styles, it’s practical, simple, fast and fun! The advantage of this style is that I sacrificed the eyelids and some aspects of the good to facilitate expressions.

Cute: This is pretty much the same thing as Toon, practical, simple, fast and fun, as well as being the perfect style to work with extremely exaggerated or funny expressions, this style gives me more freedom in the face of the character, the absence of eyebrow makes the expression focus on the shape of the eyes different from my other styles of art …

And finally, each of the styles has its version in black lines, to give a different perspective to the art, I particularly have preference for black lines as used in the Anime Style.

The reason is that the black lines allow me to have more time and patience to work on the details so I can play more with the details of the drawing doing things that would be harder with colored lines. I could do the same level of detail of black lines with colored lines, but it would take MUCH longer, almost double if not more.
