Moon Crater is the youngest of the royal family, and her parentage is a little funny. While her mother Luna may have met Pip when he was young, they didn’t get to know each other well until he enrolled in the night guard. Luna found herself flattered by his infatuation with her, but wasn’t sure if it was appropriate. Slowly but surely, he won her over with his kind heart.

Moonie is a silly, ditzy mare who enjoys reading, astronomy, astrology, and eating sweets all night long. She loves saying up late and can be quite the party animal. Due to being an earth pony, most of equestria doesn’t see her as a real princess. Moon Crater pretends it doesn’t bother her, but it really does.
