The best thing so far about season 8 of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic are the new characters introduced this season. One of those new characters is Silverstream, here. She’s a hippogriff (and, occasionally, a seapony), niece to Queen Novo and cousin to Princess Skystar. Silverstream seems to share the same hyperactive gene with the latter, and her enthusiasm for the most mundane things is infectious (“Look! STAIRS!!”). She’s part of a group of characters dubbed “The Student Six” who are enrolled at Twilight Sparkle’s School of Friendship, just outside of Ponyville.
