Description:
The Great City of Tambelon stands tall, ever watching above all. It is carved and molten from the highest peak of the mountain via long lost magic. What was once a shining prosperous City, is now a mere nightmarish reflektion of its old glory. Misshapen and crooked stand its towers, like spears piercig the heavens above. Its entrance jagged like a gaping maw, ready to swallow all that dare to enter. Giant windowless openings, like dead eyes staring outwards onto the blemished and poisoned lands, pierce its outer shell.
This is the steadfast seat of Grogar. Built during times immemorial. From his thorneroom in the highest chamber of the Sky-Thorn, the Highest Tower of Tambelon, Grogar reigned.
Yet Tambelon is far greater than what the eye could see. Its chambers and tunnels reached deep, deep into the flesh of the world. Giant Halls and Dungeons made from fire, ice and black obsidian. Pillars and columns reaching up into darkness towards the unseen domed ceilings. Vaults and the quarters of Grogars generals and armies. furnaces and smithes heated by the blood of the earth itself. Down there in the nethermost halls at the bones of the earth it was were Grogar used forgotten magic and occult rituals to bring forth new creatures to send upon his foes.
When Grogar was banished into the void much of Tambelon vanished with him, and the remaining subterranian Stronghold collapsed and buried its inhabitants. But not all tunnels and halls are gone, it is unknown to us what still might lurk within the bowels of Tambelon to this day, awaiting the return and call of its Master.
Design and idea of the greater subterranian fortress and dungeos were heavily inspired by Utumno and Angband. also the crooked look was inspired by king haggard’s castle from the last unicorn.
