Well, been reading a manga called Homunculus lately (warning: NSFW stuff and tends to be quite graphic in some parts) and then just had to try and draw something to it. Since I could immediatly imagine how Skye’s homunculus would look like, I just had to draw that.

To you who haven’t read the manga: In the universe of that story homunculus is a symbolic manifistation of a person’s issues or mental/emotional distortion. The main character of the story got the ability to see these when looking at people, after an experimental operation. Not all people got a homunculus and those who got one is all looking different. They are not all obvious to figure out and many can be tricky.

It was fun trying to draw these. After I knew how Skye’s would look like, I realised that Claudia might have one too. Just not as big or nearly as obvious as her daughter’s. Although I am more proud of how Skye’s turned out. That is the best rock surface I have ever drawn. Helps having refs to look at when drawing stuff like this.

Well, I’ll leave it to you guys to figure out on your own what exactly their homunculus mean. And before you ask: No, Star Shot doesn’t have a homunculus. I don’t even think a Star Pony’s mind work in a way that could make a homunculus appear. Too simple minded for that.
