The warm sunlight beamed through the curtains of Sketchy Dupe’s small home, where the stallion yawns and stretches to start the pleasant day. The clumsy and enthusiastic pony was about to go to work, only to see his day off written on the calendar. He was confused at first, but remembered that he managed to get the day off as it was Hearts and Hooves Day and he wanted to spend it with the love of his life Saffron Masala, the cook of the Tasty Treat in Canterlot. He knew what kind of gift he needed for her, remembering the type of flowers she adored and which resided a bit far from town. Some exotic purple/violet flowers that were as beautiful as the mare’s eyes were something he had to find, so he ran off and went to the dangerous mountains where the flowers rested. Sketchy had to run into hazardous landscapes, deadly valleys, and bloodthirsty beasts until he found the patch of the purple/violet flowers just ready to be plucked. The stallion grabbed a few and felt his mission was accomplished. Now all he had to do was go through the hazardous landscapes, deadly valleys, and bloodthirsty beasts again just to make it back home. After a treacherous, but worth while journey, Sketchy cleaned himself up and made his way to the Tasty Treat, where Saffron was waiting for him for their night out. Before Saffron would say anything, Sketchy presented the flowers to her, leaving her in awe and flustered as she was happy that Sketchy went out of his way  to get the flowers she loved. Sketchy smiled at the cook’s gleaming blush, given a little peck on the muzzle as the two set off for their stroll for the loving day.

So yeah, a simple little story. Been a while since I drew my Sketchy Dupe since that Derpibooru colllab a few months back. But I’m glad to make use of him again. ^{^}
