I attend Camp I am me in Ingleside, IL every summer. It is a camp for burned children ages 7-16. I’m a counselor and former camper. Camp is the one place where I am accepted for who I am no matter what.
This year our cabin group had these blank posters for other people to write positive messages and quotes on. One night I was chatting with a co-counselor and told her I was a brony. The next morning I saw this drawn on my poster. It was near perfect and I hadn’t even explained to he the whole 20% cooler thing. It was cool how accepting they all were. The last night a few counselors were asking me questions about it and why I like it. One even mentioned the brony documentary…
