This here is my OC pony Malachite, created from Ponycreator V.3, because unfortunately I suck at drawing. However I am reasonable satisfied with the result as a somewhat accurate representation of what he might look like.

Malachite is a male unicorn who was born in the Unicorn Range west of Canterlot. His special talent is crafting and enchanting weapons and trinkets with magic crystals and arcane runes. His cutie mark is a Triquetra, a commonly used rune. I will write more on this in the future, in short it works something like:

Certain crystals can be charged by magic from a unicorn, these crystals works like batteries that powers magic items. What kind of enchantment that are placed on a object is determined by the adding of arcane runes. Those who work with this craft are called Runesmiths

His name Malachite (which I probably spent the most time coming up with, hehe) refers to a dark-green crystal, a name I picked since the color matches that of his eyes and crystals are a very essential part of his craftsmanship.

He currently serves as a royal runesmith for Equestrias military, living up in the crystal mountains in the north where he also mines for rare crystals, a most dangerous task since gems and crystals usually are being hoarded by the many dragons, trolls and giants living up in the untamed wilderness. This means that not only is he skilled in crafting enchanted weapons, but also in wielding them.
