Description:

“Crash landings and surprises…

Scootaloo groaned as the world around her spun, leaves and sticks sprinkled her flank and hair as she blearily opened her eyes.

That had not been her best landing….or even her best CRASH landing.

She rubbed her snout in the grass trying to get some tree sap off it, and then made a mental note to never try using Pinkie Pie’s party cannon for stunts, the trajectory had sent her all the way over ponyville into the everfree forest!

totally missing her target too…

As she tried to get her snout clean her eyes noted a flicker of moved ment in front of her and she looked up, only to wish she hadn’t. There, not a foot away from her was a pony she’d never seen before. It was large, black and had the strangest horn she’d ever seen atop its head. The hair that lay around it was almost translucent, with the color of water as it trickles in a stream. The pony’s feet were large, and had large holes in them, like she was injured but never sought treatment for what ever caused them…Scootaloo gulped and focused on it’s eyes, closed as if sleeping, fluttering left and right like she was dreaming. Good, if it was sleeping then she could hopefully get away.

Her luck as it were decided against it and she suddenly felt a sneeze coming on, she inwardly cursed and buried her nose into the crook of her foot.
“Ah—CHiBLLTCH!” she swore and looked back to see that the large mare was opening her eyes slowly and blinking. The pony closed it’s eyes and yawned wide, showing numerous white serrated long teeth before it clacked it’s mouth shut with a loud snap, and lowered it’s head back to the grass, before its eyes set on the foal.

Silence reigned for several seconds before it blinked and it’s eyes angled to the broken canopy above Scootaloo, and then back down to the foal before it. Scootaloo felt frozen to her core, ponies did not have sharp teeth like that, or dilated slit pupils….this was NOT a pony.

the realization hit the foal like a load of bricks and her eyes widened in fear, this was a predatory creature…and it was now moving to stand. scootaloo couldn’t move, couldn’t make a noise, she could only watch as it rose to it’s full height and started to walk forward, right over the top of the foal, that’s when another thing hit her,

this creature resembled….an alicorn….but how? with sheer will power scootaloo found herself looking back at it, the large membrane wings held tightly at the creature’s sides as it disappeared into the brush…and then all was silent…”
