Twintails: "Ah, we're in effectively the heart of the facility here; these are Synchro-Cyclotronic Condensers, specially-designed atomic accelerators, and the linchpin of P-235 production. Helium atoms get fed into the center of the acceleration disks before being spun at extreme velocities, and with a bit of extra magic mixed in, eventually coalesce into a beam of atoms of pure P-235, which get sent along the collection pipe in the floor to the linear decelerator and collection tanks."
Octavia: "I... see! Are they really this quiet?"
Twintails: "Oh, no, none of them are active at the moment, haven't had an order for a batch in awhile. Though, wouldn't hurt to get production going again while we're here, replace what we're taking. They take a whole day to make only one ton of P-235, though, so I'll get 'em going and we can let 'em run."
Octavia: "Huh. Wouldn't have thought making this gas of yours was such an involved process, nor such a slow one, either."
Twintails: "Given how much helium comes from that single ton, though, I'd say it's more than worth it~"

Now in the heart of the production facility, our pair of puffiness-inclined ponies inspect the machinery that enables the synthesis of the gas, dormant though they may be at the moment. Nobody ever said making super-dense helium gas was easy!
