Rarity and CraftyCorn looked around the old classrooms. Rarity was a little irritated by how many batteries Playtime Co. used while Crafty looked to be on edge. “Darling, are you okay?” Rarity asked.
“It’s… This place,” Crafty muttered. “It was… Part of the Bigger Bodies Initiative. When they had the right children for certain toys.”
“Children? They seriously used children here?” Crafty was hesitant to answer until they heard some ominous footsteps. “That doesn’t sound like the girls or any of the critters.”
“It’s Miss Delight!” CraftyCorn began to shiver in fright. Rarity felt like this wasn’t good, so she quickly grabbed Crafy and hid beneath as desk. Both unicorns held their breath as the footsteps got louder until they heard her entering the room.
Miss Delight looked around with her broken face showing her experience with all of the years in the Playcare. Wielding her custom-made mace in one hand, she scratched her claws across the desk Rarity picked as a hiding spot. They heard the wood breaking apart as the claws cut into it.
The two unicorns hardly breathed as they were terrified. Both covered their mouths as Miss Delight slowly walked out of the room, looking for more prey. When they couldn’t hear her footsteps anymore, Rarity and CraftyCorn finally took a breath. “And I thought it was just Catnap to worry about,” Rarity panted.
She looked down at CraftyCorn, who looked to be crying from the amount of terror she just felt. She couldn’t get any words out until Rarity began to comfort her. “Why? Why do we have to stay here?” Crafty wept. “I don’t want to stay here anymore! I want to be free!” Crafty tried her best to keep quiet, but she couldn’t help but cry.
Rarity sighed, not wanting to know the details of what horrors they had faced here. She just simply picked up the weeping critter, and carried her out of the room, keeping an eye out for her friends or Miss Delight.
