Apple Bullseye grew up a sickly and frail pony. Though her parents were both very strong and resilient, she grew up small and delicate, and spent most of her childhood indoors to keep from overexerting herself. As a filly, she'd always wanted to participate in sports, but her health wouldn't allow it. When she finally turned a corner, her growth had been stunted, which meant she couldn't excel in the strength and endurance competitions her parents thrived in. Instead, Apple Bullseye turned to archery. What she lacks in size and strength, she makes up for in precision, patience, and accuracy, and has built up a name for herself in competitive target shooting. Her parents support her completely, with Applejack in particular bragging about her daughter's success whenever it comes up.
