but some lore/world info is that my universe takes place about 100 years after the events of friendship is magic. the elements of harmony are dead, and celestia and luna ascended to the "heavens" and are revered to by the ponies as gods as opposed to queens.

the death of the elements of harmony and disappearance of the princesses caused a rift between the north and south and they split into two separate countries that are governed by two different rulers. they are spectacular terms, however, and ponies can travel between them freely.

this is Daisy Dreams, and she lives in the North governed by Princess Heartfelt Haven. she's from a smaller town, but moved to the main castle town to pursue a career in art education. she's currently in training to be an art teacher for a smaller school in castle town.

as for Daisy herself, she's a young, spunky gal with a incredibly bright look on life. she's been pretty well off her whole life with loving, supportive parents, and tends to always look on the bright side of things. because of this, she's also a little ignorant to the more serious side of things, and has trouble toning it down sometimes.

she tries to be there for her friends but she's more well known as a fair weather friend, finding it hard to relate their struggles. she's working on this though.
