Pinkie Pie's friend Wysteria from Santa Monica comes for a visit before a ballet competition and quickly dislikes Rarity believing her to be a rival stealing her best friend away from her. Pinkie Pie tries to thaw the strain between Wysteria and Rarity with a picnic at Disneyland.

Back in Sailor Nebula's palace, she comes up with a plan to defeat the Sailor Rangers by capturing Rarity and Wysteria in an effort to weaken them. When Sailor Tin Nyanko questions the plan, Nebula quickly silences her about it. She tells Sailor Tin Nyanko if she has them captive, the others will refuse to cooperate with each other, leaving Serenity and Earth defenseless to stop her. She sends Sailor Tin Nyanko out to capture Rarity and Wysteria at once.

In woodshop, the 4 mares must deal with Tom and Sylvester bragging about their latest plan to find out the secret identities of the Sailor Rangers, believing their newly built jet packs will give them an advantage to catch up to them. Despite Fluttershy's warning for them not to attempt it, the cats decide to test out jet packs anyway. Their first test in the park ends with them crash landing in a stack of hay.

At Disneyland, Tin Nyanko arrives and captures Rarity and Wysteria while leaving Pinkie Pie alone. In a panic state, she tries to communicate with the others. Realizing the 4 mares are still at the shop, Pinkie Pie gallops back to the school to warn them about what Tin Nyanko has done to Rarity and Wysteria.

Back at the Moon Base, pleased with Sailor Tin Nyanko's success for capturing Rarity and Wysteria, she'll think that if the other sailor scouts discovered that Pinkie Pie didn't do anything to stop Tin Nyanko from kidnapping the two mares, Nebula anticipates that they will blame her for it.

At woodshop, Pinkie Pie tells the 4 mares about what Sailor Tin Nyanko did to Rarity and Wysteria. Twilight Sparkle and the others decide to head to the Moon Castle at once, leaving Nebula furious that they didn't blame Pinkie Pie. Taking matters into her own hands, Nebula creates Jaws from a saw in Woodshop to destroy them.

Being held captive in a cave with a pink force field and guarded by Phages, Wysteria admits her fears. Rarity tells her that she is doing fine, leading Wysteria to question why she would still want to be her friend after the terrible things she did to her. Rarity reveals she knows what it's like to deal with feeling lonely since her parents divorce. Wysteria is surprised that Rarity has divorced parents and admits how she felt when her father left her. She found it tough having someone leave her behind and felt as long as she had Pinkie Pie around, she never feel lonely. When she transferred to Los Angeles High School, Wysteria felt like Pinkie Pie had left her behind like her father did. Rarity understands the pain very well since she felt that way when her dad left her but discovered that he still loved her no matter what.

At the Moon Castle, Pinkie Pie tells Serenity of the situation Tin Nyanko put her in when she captured her best friends. Serenity wisely tells her that no one blames her in this, but she is still unsure. The alarm goes off and the mares see on the viewing globe another of Nebula's monsters, Jaws, has started his attack. The mares quickly transform into action.

Upon seeing the sailor scouts flying in the air, Tom and Sylvester activate their jet packs once again, but the packs stop working and causes the cats to crash into each other.

Jaws sends the phages to battle the other four sailor scouts while Twilight Sparkle deals with the ones guarding the captive two mares. She manages to destroy the guarding phages and enter the cave to rescue the mares. Using Saba to temporary break the force field. Wysteria runs out quickly but the field activates again before Rarity could run out. Twilight Sparkle tells Luna to teleport her home immediately. Wysteria doesn't want to leave her new friend behind but Rarity encourages her to return home and that Princess Twilight will find a way to free her. Wysteria is teleported home and Rarity transforms into action. Using her skills, she dismantles the force field permanently.

Back at the Moon Palace, Nebula yells at Tin Nyanko for leaving phages to do her job rather than guard the cave herself. She orders Tin Nyanko back to Earth to deal with Twilight Sparkle before she frees Rarity at once.

Heading outside the cave, Twilight Sparkle and Rarity are face to face with Tin Nyanko. Twilight Sparkle convinces Rarity to help the other sailor scouts with Jaws and the other phages while she deals with Sailor Tin Nyanko. Rarity arrives in time to help the other sailor scouts defeat the Phages before turning their attention towards Jaws. Not to be outdone, Nebula throws a growth grenade at Jaws and make him grow. The sailor scouts call for the Thunder Zords to become the Thunder Megazord. They defeat Jaws with the Thunder Saber. Twilight Sparkle defeats Tin Nyanko and sends her back to the Moon.

Back on the Moon, Nebula once again yells at Tin Nyanko for messing up her plans and her failure to defeat Twilight Sparkle. She swears that she won't show any more mercy towards the Sailor Rangers.

Coming into the Recreation Center, a bandaged Tom and Sylvester are laughed at by the three mares with Fluttershy sarcastically remarking that they "really" ran into the Sailor Rangers. However, Tom tells the mares that it won't stop them from finding out the secret identities of the Sailor Rangers. Sylvester agrees and when they do find out, everyone will call them heroes. Rarity preps for the ballet competition and Pinkie Pie tells her how grateful she was for her being nice to Wysteria. Rarity gives a near perfect ballet performance that puts her in the lead by 9.8. Then it's Wysteria's turn to perform her part of the competition that leads to a tie between her and Rarity. In the end, they share the trophy with Pinkie Pie.
