In the Season 4 animatic we see Princess Twilight Sparkle in the past, seeing events of Nightmare Moon from Celestia’s perspective. Could this image also be an event happening in the past?

This image comes in the wake of Meghan McCarthy saying that the “season finale of #MLPFIM is a 3-parter”. The season finale ‘Magical Mystery Cure’ was (in part) about the history of Star Swirl the Bearded’s character.

Season 4 will explain so much more about the history of Equestria.
