Ask the mares if they would like to join us for lunch.

Reminded of the emptiness of your own stomach, you tell Aqua Skies and Marine Wave that you were about to go get some lunch, and invite them to come along.

Aqua Skies: "We've already eaten, but I wouldn't say no to a snack. What about you?"

Marine Wave: "I could go for some iced tea!"

Aqua Skies: "You heard the mare. Consider your invitation accepted!"

You grin, and exit the pair's house together. Having now doubled the size of your group, you head north and west in direction of the beachside market.

You arrive at the corner of the terrace mere seconds after Apple Basket does, and greet each other there.

Apple Basket: "Howdy! I reckon these are the friends you mentioned?"

You nod, and properly introduce Apple Basket and the mares to each other. Then, you all proceed to take a seat at a nearby table. Before long, refreshing salads and drinks are served, and while Apple Basket pays for the party, you insist on covering for your guests.

As conversations bounce from one subject to the next, you begin to eat. Crunchy, water-rich vegetables, varied seasonings, and a sweet fruity drink welcome you back to the flavourful world of Equestrian cooking.

Aqua Skies: "... I thought you looked familiar! Sugarloaf's nephew, eh?"

Marine Wave: "How was it to venture across the sea?"

Apple Basket: "Well, it sure was somethin' else. I'm just glad I got to help. And it looks like the Tradin' Post company's gotten a couple good deals out of it, too."

Moonflower: "Ooh, did they like what'cha got?"

Apple Basket: "I think so! The seadogs' alga fabrics got lots o' ponies talkin', so now it's a matter of what they want in exchange. It might take a bit 'cause we don't got proper docks for airships here in Amblerta, but they know about the pirates, at least."

Marine Wave: "If I'm not mistaken, the nearest town with an airship landing is Vanhoover, up to the north. It's a few hours' walk, but worth the trip if you enjoy big cities!"

You say that you'll keep that in mind, and ask about the trade opportunity with the harpies.

Apple Basket: "Uh, I don't know much 'bout the details of that one, but from what I could piece together, they're thinkin' about openin' some sorta parlour for them."

Aqua Skies: "A parlour for harpies? Now, that sounds like something the Heart siblings would be in charge of."

Marine Wave: "Oh? Do you think they'll have big, muscular harpy stallions we can meet?"

Aqua Skies: "I don't think that's how harpies work, sweetheart."

Moonflower: "Heeheehee!"

You finish the last of your meal with a satisfied smile on your face. You feel satiated, and ready to get back in the swing of things.
