Flurry had been studied most of her childhood by magi-scientists Equestria over, all with the same question in mind. How was she born an alicorn? Evidence was gathered, and theories arose. Was it a rare genetic fluke? All existing Alicorns up until this point had resulted from a common pony ascending to godhood. Usually through some form of enlightenment or impactful magical discovery or creation. Had Flurry Heart ascended in the womb? Impossible.
