Description:
Mulberry decides to try and teach him of the mayor’s wrongdoing. He is after all, the closest thing to an ally other than Antoine that she has.
The mare asks if he knows why everyone in this town seems so crazy except for him.
“Are they?” He asks unconcerned as he lifts the metal he is working on to examine it. “They’ve always been a bit strange. The Innkeeper, the Chef, the Farmer, the Merchant and that stallion staying with him, those fishery louts, The Mayor, his daughter, and you… All of you are strange.”
She asks what he would do if someone were trying to destroy the town. She glances around the smithy while she speaks, thinking of places that maybe she could drop some protection runes down. It’s a house, so it has plenty of doorways and narrow spaces that might work.
“Then I’d go to another town and work there. There is always work to be found in this world, young one”. He says, still knocking against the super-heated metal.
