Description:
Mulberry decides to go back to Antoine’s for the moment. She feels like she could use a rest considering all the things she has seen in the last few hours. That, and she realizes she’ll be able to see the fish-ponies movements, so she’ll be able to tell when they give up looking for her.
She sneaks back up through the hole, and looks towards the front windows as she heads over to the food stash. Since the blinds are closed she can’t see much, other than there are no monster shaped shadows outside Antoine’s, and a bulbous one in the other apartment. She grabs a can of peaches and then heads over to the orb.
There are seven or so orbs wandering around Mournthread. They do seem to be looking for something. There are two orbs near Antoine’s apartment. One is definitely the guard watching the door, the other is in an odd place. It looks like it’s on the wrong side of the building.
She hears clicking and clacking coming from the nearby window. She whips around to see the puppet Emilia skittering by the window. The wooden creature is clinging on all fours against the side of the building. Emilia fumbles for her gun, and the thing moves in a slow, wandering insect-like manner. Sometimes she’ll make short bursts, causing the creepy clacking, and then slow back down again.
The mare does her best to take cover behind a corner or a door, but the way the monster is moving she isn’t sure Emilia can even see her.
