Paint sketch commission for Darnel of his favorite muse, Epona.
She seems to be enjoying herself, watching red petals drift away with the stream. <sup>_</sup> This was a fun one- I took it as an opportunity to play around with dappled lighting, which I’d never done before. I also wanted to try using a different color palette from my usual, focusing on warm shadows and contrasting cyans & oranges. I really, really liked the usage of warm shadows with cooler accents, so I’ll probably be playing with it a lot more in the future. Caused it to take longer than intended, but I’m quite happy with the results
